Anallia’s creative classes offer teens an opportunity to experience themselves in a positive light, while exploring self expression through movement--voice--rhythms.

The quartz crystal singing bowls she uses as accompaniment, stimulate Alpha brainwaves, creating focused relaxation, while the Afro-Brasilian rhythms  facilitate balance and integration, as they connect with their own  rhythms.

 These classes promote a real sense of interconnectedness and authenticity

As students come to feel safe in expressing themselves creatively,

Uplifting the Spirit as their inner child plays. 

  Born in Brasil, raised also in Africa, Asia and Hawai,

 I grew up in cultures steeped in rhythms, singing and dancing,

as a means of releasing daily stress, connecting at a heart level and celebrating life.

I share simple techniques using Afro-Brasilian, and World rhythms, movement and vocal improvisation,, as a powerful and joyful means of reconnecting with one’s authentic primal nature. Improvisation encourages a strong sense of self, as young people explore their creative expression, and come to know themselves, through their own, unique song, rhythms and dance.  Music provides healthy outlet for the competitive nature of teens.

Anallia  has been teaching in Palm Beach County for the past 10 years, through such venues, as  the Center for Creative Education, Alternative schools, the Middle School of the Arts and a grant serving PB Juvenile detention center, Florida Institute for Girls and Palm Beach Youth Center.
